Our mission is to offer an engaging, gamified platform for financial education, enabling users to learn while they earn. Our features include a comprehensive Learning Academy, various rewarding missions, a marketplace to redeem earned 'Dosh', a referral system, and several interactive competitions. We also provide a conversational AI tool for financial inquiries. All the while, our aim is to respect user privacy and operate under full compliance with GDPR.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the 'Doshi' app, including (without limitation) the Learning Academy, experience points ("XP"), leaderboards, reward distribution mechanisms, Missions, Marketplace, Referral system, Competitions, and any future features we may offer.
By downloading, accessing or using the Doshi app, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to comply with them. This includes any updates or changes we may make to them over time.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately stop using the Doshi app.
We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your records and future reference.
You must be 13 or over to accept these terms and use the App.
To gain access to the full suite of features offered by the 'Doshi' app, you will be required to create an account. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide certain information, such as your age, email address, and financial preferences.
By creating an account, you affirm that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete. You also agree to promptly update any changes to this information to keep your account accurate.
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials is your responsibility. If you believe your account has been compromised or misused in any way, please contact us immediately at hello@doshi.app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to violate these terms.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. As required by data protection legislation, we provide you with detailed information about who we are, how we process your personal data, the purposes for which we use your data, and your rights in relation to your personal data. We will only process personal data collected through your use of the Doshi app as set out in our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you acknowledge this processing, and you confirm that all data provided by you is accurate.
In addition to our standard data collection, we may need to collect more in-depth data when you wish to redeem rewards from our Marketplace. This process will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in full compliance with GDPR.
Sponsors of any rewards may also share your data with us so that we can assess (if applicable) if you are eligible to redeem any rewards you have earned.
Please note, while we strive to protect your data, no internet transmissions can be guaranteed as completely private or secure. Any message or information you send using the app could potentially be read or intercepted by others, even if there is a notice that a particular transmission is encrypted.
To provide our services, we may collect various types of data about you. This includes but is not limited to, data provided during the registration process, data generated as you use our services, and data necessary to redeem rewards.
We treat all data we collect with care, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws. However, to enhance your experience and provide the most rewarding service, we may need to share some of your data with trusted third-party partners, sponsors, or service providers.
This could include sharing information with third parties who help us manage our services, provide customer support, manage promotions, or process payments. We may also share data with our sponsors or partners in anonymised, aggregated form.

Your use of the Doshi app is not only governed by these Terms and Conditions but also by the rules and policies of the app store from which you downloaded our app. This could be either Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store.
Where there are differences between our terms and the app store's rules and policies, the latter will take precedence. It is your responsibility to be aware of and comply with all applicable terms and conditions when using Doshi.
To run the Doshi app smoothly, you need a smart device with a minimum operating system of iOS 13 or Android 8. Please note, some features may work better with more recent versions of these operating systems. You may download and install the Doshi app on one or more smartphones or handheld devices. You can view, use, and display the Doshi app on these devices strictly for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may access and use any electronic documentation ("Documentation") that we provide in support of the Doshi app.
Remember, your use of the Doshi app should always be in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable rules or policies. Any other use of the Doshi app not explicitly permitted by these terms is strictly prohibited.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
XP (Experience Points) means a non-transferable, non-redeemable points system used solely to measure user progress and engagement within the Doshi app.
Leaderboard means a ranked list of users based on XP earned during a defined period.
Dosh means an in-app reward unit that may be allocated to users based on leaderboard rank or other engagement criteria and may be redeemed only within the Doshi Marketplace, subject to these Terms.
XP is earned exclusively through completing educational lessons, maintaining learning streaks, and other learning-related activities as determined by Doshi from time to time. XP has no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for rewards.
Users are ranked on leaderboards based on the amount of XP earned during a specified period. Leaderboards may operate on a rolling, seasonal, or time-limited basis, and Doshi reserves the right to determine the structure, duration, and ranking methodology of any leaderboard.
Dosh is distributed to users based on their leaderboard rank, subject to availability and any applicable eligibility criteria. The amount of Dosh allocated, the number of qualifying leaderboard positions, and the frequency of distribution may change at Doshi's discretion.
Dosh is not money, does not represent a monetary balance, and has no cash value outside the Doshi app. Dosh cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash or cash equivalents.
Eligible Dosh may be redeemed solely within the Doshi Marketplace for available rewards, which may include partner rewards, gift cards, charitable donations, and other non-cash items. Each reward is subject to its own terms, conditions, availability, and redemption requirements.
Doshi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue XP earning rules, leaderboards, Dosh distribution mechanisms, or Marketplace rewards at any time, including where partner arrangements end or change. Such changes do not give rise to any entitlement, compensation, or claim against Doshi.
As a user of Doshi, you have certain obligations and responsibilities. You must:
Failure to adhere to these acceptable use restrictions can result in suspension or termination of your access to Doshi, at our sole discretion.
The Doshi app includes gamified features designed to encourage learning, engagement, and positive financial behaviours. These features may include missions, lessons, streaks, XP accumulation, and leaderboard rankings.
You agree to participate in all gamified features in good faith and in a manner consistent with their educational purpose. Doshi reserves the right to set, amend, interpret, and enforce rules relating to any gamified feature, including eligibility criteria, time periods, scoring methodologies, and ranking logic.
Leaderboards and XP-based mechanisms are skill- and activity-based and are not games of chance, gambling, or betting. Participation does not guarantee rewards, ranking outcomes, or continued availability of any feature.
Doshi may suspend, modify, reset, or discontinue any gamified feature (including leaderboards) at any time for operational, legal, or fairness reasons, without liability or obligation to compensate users.
Doshi provides a referral system that allows you to invite friends to join the Doshi community. For each friend who successfully registers using your referral link or code, you may receive a certain amount of Dosh or other rewards as specified in the referral program terms.
Please use the referral system responsibly. This means not spamming others with referral invitations, not making false or misleading statements about Doshi, and not attempting to game the system by creating multiple accounts or engaging in other fraudulent activities.
We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities, and to suspend accounts or modify referrals as deemed fair and appropriate, in cases where we suspect any misuse or fraudulent activity in the referral program.
Doshi is designed to provide financial education and help users develop a better understanding of financial matters. The information and resources provided by Doshi, including in the Learning Academy, Missions and Competitions are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial advice.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information, products, services, or related graphics contained on Doshi for any purpose.

Doshi grants you, as the user, the personal right to use the App as outlined in these terms and conditions. This right is non-transferable, meaning you are not permitted to pass on your right to use the App to anyone else, whether in exchange for money, other consideration, or for free. This also applies to any Dosh or XP you earn through the App. These rewards are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to others.
If you sell, give away, or otherwise transfer a device on which the App is installed, you must remove the App from the device beforehand, as the new device owner must register their own account to use Doshi.
Doshi reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, industry best practices, or the introduction of new features and services in the App. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revised terms on the App.
We encourage you to periodically review these terms to stay informed about any changes. By continuing to use the App after any modifications are posted, you acknowledge your acceptance of the revised terms.
If you do not agree with any modifications to the Terms and Conditions, your only recourse is to stop using the Doshi App.
Doshi is committed to enhancing your experience and ensuring the app is up to date. As such, we may automatically update the App to improve performance, add new features, fix bugs, ensure compliance with changes in law or best practices, enhance functionality, address security issues, or make other changes we deem necessary or beneficial to the App. In some instances, we may require you to update the App for these reasons.
By using Doshi, you agree to promptly download and install any requested updates. Please note, if you choose not to install such updates, or if you opt out of automatic updates, your experience with the App may be affected, including your ability to use certain features, or to use the App at all.
We will make every reasonable effort to communicate any significant changes to the App to you in advance.
If you download or install Doshi onto any phone or other device that is not owned by you, you must first obtain the owner's permission. You are responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our App through a device you do not own are aware of these Terms and Conditions and comply with them.
Regardless of who owns the device, by using the App, you are accepting and agreeing to be bound by these terms. You are personally responsible for your use of the App and for ensuring that your use complies with all provisions of these terms, regardless of device ownership.
To provide the best possible experience and continually improve Doshi, we may collect and use technical data about the devices you use the App on, as well as related software, hardware, and peripherals.
This might include data such as your device type, operating system version, device settings, hardware performance, and device identifiers. We may also capture data about how you use our app, such as analytic data.
By using the App, you agree to this collection and use of technical information. It's important to note that this data will be used solely for the purpose of enhancing the App's functionality and improving our services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Doshi may integrate with third-party services and make use of third-party APIs to provide its functionalities. This includes but is not limited to, the "conversational AI" feature which uses a third-party API to give you the ability to ask anything about finance.
When interacting with these features, you may be subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third parties. We strongly encourage you to review such terms and policies as Doshi is not responsible for the functionality, availability, or security measures of such external services.
While we strive to select third-party providers with care, any transactions, communications, or disputes between you and a third party are solely between you and the third party. Doshi assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.
Doshi may provide links to third-party websites, apps, or services. This includes but is not limited to the websites of our partners, sponsors, or affiliated entities. These links are provided for your convenience and informational purposes only.

You will not disassemble, de-compile, reverse engineer or create derivative works based on the whole or any part of the Doshi app nor attempt to do any such things, except to the extent that (by virtue of sections 50B and 296A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) such actions cannot be prohibited because they are necessary to decompile the Doshi app to obtain the information necessary to create an independent program that can be operated with the Doshi app or with another program ("Permitted Objective"), and provided that the information obtained by you during such activities:
Doshi App Limited (or our licensors) hold all intellectual property rights in and to the Doshi app worldwide. The app is licensed, not sold, to you for use. This means that we retain ownership of the app at all times.
Your use of the app grants you no intellectual property rights in or to the app beyond the limited license for use provided under these terms, and under any direct agreement between you and Doshi App Limited. It is important to remember that unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in serious consequences, including but not limited to infringement claims and damages.
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents, or subcontractors, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. If defective digital content that we have supplied damages a device or digital content belonging to you, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. However, we will not be liable for damage that you could have avoided by following our advice or installation instructions.
The Doshi app has not been developed to meet your individual requirements. Please check that the facilities and functions of the Doshi app meet your requirements.
If our provision of the Doshi app or support is delayed by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimize the effect of the delay.
If you have violated these terms significantly, we may terminate your rights to use the Doshi app at any time. If the violation is rectifiable, we will provide you with a reasonable opportunity to correct it.
We reserve the right to transfer our obligations and rights under these terms and conditions to another entity. In such an event, we will always notify you in writing. We will make sure that this transfer will not negatively impact your rights under these terms and conditions.

This agreement is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms. In particular, the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to this agreement.
Every clause of these terms of use operates independently. If any legal regulation or competent court finds any of these clauses unenforceable or invalid, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable or invalid clause will be replaced with a valid and enforceable clause that achieves, to the greatest extent possible, the same effect as would have been achieved by the invalid or unenforceable clause.
Our failure or delay in enforcing any provision of this contract at any time does not waive our right to enforce the same or any other provision(s) hereof in the future. Any waiver of such rights or failure to act or delay by us does not constitute a waiver of the same or any other rights under these terms. If you are a consumer, these terms, their subject matter and formation, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. However, if you are a resident of another country, you have the right to rely on any mandatory provisions of the law of that country. Both you and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of another country, you may also bring proceedings in that country.
